Connexion Self-Installation Instructions

These instructions will walk you through the steps needed to set up your home’s internet and Wi-Fi. If you have any issues, concerns, or questions along the way, do not hesitate to call our Tech Support team at (970) 207-7873.
Important Information
Do not place your router on carpet
This interferes with your Wi-Fi signal. If possible, it’s best to place your router on an elevated surface (table, bookcase, etc.)
Do not bend the yellow fiber cable at any 90° angles
Step 1: LOCATE
Locate the Connexion wall plate in your home.
Step 2: REMOVE
Remove the green end cap from the end of the yellow fiber-optic cable running out of the back of our router. Look at the bottom of the wall plate to determine which way to insert the fiber.
Step 3: INSERT
Insert the fiber carefully into the wall plate. The fiber will only fit in one way, so do not force it. Make sure to listen for a distinctive clicking sound to ensure fiber is plugged in fully. Try not to touch the tip of the fiber-optic cable or bend it at any harsh angles.
Step 4: PLUG
Plug the power cord into the router. Next, plug the other end into the outlet nearest to your wall plate. Once plugged in, turn on the router using the power button on the back.
Step 5: WAIT
The router will now go through several power cycles. This entire process generally takes about 15 minutes. After this process is complete, you should see 3 solid green lights* on the front of the device.

Step 6: CONNECT
Let us finish the job. Call our Tech Support team to set up your Wi-Fi at 970-207-7873
in order to set up your personal Wi-Fi network name & password.
If you’d like to connect to Wi-Fi with our default network name and password: on a personal device, open your Wi-Fi settings and locate the Wi-Fi network named “Connexion” followed by a few numbers. Connect to this network using the password listed on the bottom of the router.
Step 7: CONGRATS!
Your work here is done! You are now connected to the fastest internet in town!
